Katie Forberg is the Manager in Scripps Networks Interactive’s Content Distribution and Marketing department. In this role, Katie manages distribution, contract negotiations, and client relationships with the NCTC, NRTC, NTTC, and airlines for Scripps’ content portfolio: HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, DIY, Cooking Channel and Great American Country. She previously managed Scripps’ International distribution in the Caribbean and parts of Central and South America.
Prior to joining Scripps in 2012, Katie got her start in the industry at A+E Networks, where she was hired as the Field Sales Coordinator in A+E’s Affiliate Sales department. There, she supported a team of seven sales representatives and their multiple accounts, including Comcast, Time Warner, and the NCTC. In addition, she helped manage A+E’s Canadian Distribution initiatives and marketing campaigns.
A native of Chicago, Katie made her way to the East Coast by attending Boston College, majoring in English and International Business. Outside of work, Katie enjoys traveling, running, and a good book. Katie lives in Brooklyn, New York with her fiancé.
