Kealani Kimball, is currently employed by ESPN as the Associate Director of Event Development for ESPN RISE. ESPN RISE represents ESPN’s and Disney’s commitment to support, inform, inspire and connect high school athletes through five platforms: web, mobile, publishing, television and events.
In her role at ESPN RISE Kealani manages a team responsible for the operation of 150 plus national high school events each year. Sponsorship from clients such as Nike, Under Armour and Gatorade has allowed ESPN RISE to execute authentic and engaging events in multiple sports. Marquee ESPN RISE events include the Nike Football Training Camps, Elite 11, Area Code and Warrior 40. In addition to managing event operations, Kealani is part of a team responsible for ESPN RISE Event development and strategy.
Originally from the Hawaiian island of Molokai, Kealani earned a volleyball scholarship to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she received her BA in Business. After completing her volleyball career as a three-year captain, LMU retired her jersey in 2005. Kealani continued her education at California State University, Long Beach where she earned her Masters in Sports Management.
Kealani has a strong passion for changing kids lives through sports. She currently resides in Redondo Beach, Calif. and enjoys spending her time at the beach staying active through stand up paddling and beach volleyball.
