Keely Buchanan

Keely Rose Buchanan is a Internal & Executive Communications and Learning Innovator, Creative Data Nerd, and an Imaginative Problem Solver.

Keely has been in the Telecommunications Industry since 2001, starting her career as a Digital Media Specialist for Time Warner Cable. In her current position as Sr Manager of Technology Services & Executive Communication, Keely is responsible for: Training, Coaching, Surveys, Webinars, the Technology Scorecard, internal branding (Panorama), Executive Communications, and Process Improvement for the Technical Arm of Charter.

In 2016, Keely was awarded DU’s Alumni Achievement Award. In 2015, she was named Multichannel News’ Woman in Technology – Rising Star. In 2012, she was a WICT Rocky Mountain (RM) Woman to Watch and was named the 2011 WICT National Volunteer of the Year. In 2009, Keely was named as one of Cablefax‘s 30 Women on the Move. She has also earned multiple nominations and wins for TWC’s MVP program, going to Puerto Rico as a company winner in 2006. Most recently, she was chosen by her peers as a Q4, 2015 TWC MVP winner.

Keely holds American Management Association (AMA) Certifications in Management Excellence and Leadership Excellence, and Langevin Learning’s Training Manager Specialty Certification.

Keely is the current VP of the WICT RM Board of Directors. She was selected for the inaugural WICT National Junior Board in 2009, and established the WICT RM Chapter’s Student and STEM Outreach program.

An alumnus of the University of Denver, Keely earned her BA in Digital Media Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Departmental Honors in 2001. She is working towards her Master’s Degree in Org & Professional Communication, with a focus on Org Development & Training from DU.

Keely resides in Denver with her husband and two young sons, and volunteers for local US FIRST Robotics STEM programs.
