Kellie W. Grutko

Kellie Grutko serves as Vice President of Marketing for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of marketing which includes overseeing advertising, branding, strategic analysis, product marketing, creative services, promotional partnerships, event planning, public affairs and network relationships. Ms. Grutko has more than a decade of experience in cable advertising. She began her tenure as a Marketing Manager with Cable AdNet in West Chester, Pa., and was instrumental in the merger of Cable AdNet and Metrobase Cable Advertising. She helped to form and brand Radius Communications, a division of the Lenfest Group, and was promoted to Director of Marketing. She joined the Comcast Ad Sales corporate team after the merger of Comcast and the Lenfest Group, serving as Corporate Director of Marketing & Promotions. She then moved to the corporate Ad Sales offices in New York to serve as the Director of Local Marketing & Promotions for the Comcast Spotlight marketing team. Ms. Grutko has received numerous industry awards and recognition, including the Cable Television Advertising Bureau’s (CAB) Corporate Sales Achievement Award and the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing’s (CTAM) Golden Mark Award. She also has been a finalist in the CAB’s Cable Advertising Awards in multiple years. An active contributor to industry and business organizations, Ms. Grutko is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and Comcast Spotlight’s Diversity Council. She is a co-founder of the CAB’s Cable Advertising Marketing and Promotions (CAMP) Committee, and her work has helped to create industry standards for ad sales marketing. Prior to joining the cable industry, Ms. Grutko worked in the retail marketing industry as Director of Marketing for two regional shopping centers in Pennsylvania, including the King of Prussia Shopping Complex, the largest shopping complex on the East Coast. In these positions, Ms. Grutko received numerous awards for her participation in various community outreach programs, and was a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Ms. Grutko is active in the community, including volunteering with the Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the Make A Wish Foundation; past involvements included serving as a member of the March of Dimes Community Council; serving as Co-Chair of the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk; and serving as a runner and fundraiser for the American Stroke Association’s 2002 half marathon. Ms. Grutko began her career in the advertising sales department of Philadelphia Magazine. She holds a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
