Kim Armor

Kim Armor, VERSUS’ sole female executive, is the CFO and Senior Vice President of Business Development for the network.  In her role as CFO, Armor leads the development and management of VERSUS’ multi-million dollar budgets, forecasts and long-term business plans.  As SVP of Business Development, she is charged with finding and developing new business opportunities to grow the network, primarily across digital and mobile platforms. 

Immediately prior to joining VERSUS in July 2006, Armor was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Planning Operations for ESPN, Inc and was responsible for finance and strategy for advertising sales, affiliate revenue, programming, new media, international and all subsidiary businesses.
Armor joined ESPN in 1998 as Director of Finance for ESPN.com and in 2002 began overseeing the finances for ESPN The Magazine.  She had been part of the Walt Disney Company since January 1993, serving as Director of Finance, ABC TV Network Production Division and had previously served as an Internal Audit Supervisor where she oversaw the financial and operational audits for ABC Operations.  Before joining ABC, she worked as Senior Auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick in Short Hills, N.J.

Armor received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Penn State University and her M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.  She does extensive work with the NYU Executive M.B.A program as a board member for their alumni committee and with Penn State University as a board member for their sports business M.B.A initiative.  She resides in New York City with her two daughters.
