Kim began her cable career in 2006. Kim serves as the General Manager of the Lake Charles and DeRidder, Louisiana Suddenlink systems. In her role she is responsible for effective day-to- day operations of the cable system, including technical, field and store operations. Kim manages 82 employees and a subscriber base of over 38,000. While under Kim’s leadership, her systems have been recognized by her region in various areas such as Best Overall Technical Performance, Highest Growth % (various categories), Highest Sell-In (various categories), Highest Equipment Recovery %, and Lowest Trouble Call % (various categories). Most recently the Lake Charles System was recognized as having the Highest Net Promoter Score in the Mid-South Region in 2010, which recognizes the top performing system in customer service.
Prior to the cable industry Kim served as an Area Manager in the staffing industry where she managed three staffing offices throughout Southwest Louisiana. Kim’s worked in the staffing industry for 18 years. Prior to the Staffing industry Kim worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 4 years.
Kim is certified by the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) as a “Broadband Premises Installer” (BPI certified) which she accomplished in 2009. Kim attended McNeese State University for 2.5 years and graduated from Sowela Technical Institute in Practical Nursing in 1985.
Kim is an active member of the local chamber of commerce. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Literacy Council of SWLA. Kim has been serving as a Board Member of the LCTA (Louisiana Cable and Telecommunications Association) since 2006. Kim is very active in many community efforts throughout the year that her Suddenlink systems participant in to promote community awareness.
Kim resides in Lake Charles, Louisiana with her husband, Keith, of 18 years. They have three very spoiled “four legged” children. Kim enjoys vacating in Key West, traveling, scuba diving, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
