A 16-year marketing veteran, Kimberly K. Wilson serves as Vice President, Affiliate Marketing for Disney and ESPN Media Networks. In her current capacity, Kimberly identifies and develops innovative marketing strategies designed to further the organization’s distribution goals across multiple platforms, manages a multi-million dollar marketing budget and leads a team of marketers in Burbank, CA.
Prior to joining ESPN in 2005, Kimberly served as Director of Marketing for Clear Channel Radio New Orleans. She led the development and execution of all marketing, promotions, and community affairs efforts for seven radio stations from Classic Rock to Country. There, she increased revenue for the cluster by 20% via breakthrough events such as Crescent City Idol and New Faces of Country.
Moving to New Orleans in 2003, Kimberly worked as Affiliate Sales Manager for Black Entertainment Television where she was responsible for increasing distribution of BET Networks within a 16-state territory. In 2003, Kimberly served as an Affiliate Sales Consultant with MBC Cable Network founded by attorney Willie Gary, boxing great Evander Holyfield and Marlon Jackson of the Jackson Five. In this capacity, she was responsible for increasing distribution for MBC Networks and served as liaison between MBC and cable operators.
Kimberly is a native of Chicago, Illinois where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Columbia College of Chicago and earned a Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing from Roosevelt University. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
