Kiran Sachdeva is a Senior Manager in Product Development & Strategy at NBCUniversal. Based in Los Angeles, she leads a team that manages distribution across digital MVPDs and social/short form partners, and also oversees usage forecast models across digital platforms. In her role, she is charged with working cross-functionally to advise on agreements, launch content & monetization across new products, and cultivate platform- and partner-based growth opportunities. In the past year, she pioneered a cohesive, wide-scaled approach to clip distribution across the entire portfolio, while defining the go-to market strategy for emerging platforms. She also led off-domain digital distribution for the 2016 Rio Olympics and was named one of Cynopsis Media’s 2016 Rising Stars.
Prior to joining NBCU in 2014, Sachdeva worked at UBS Financial Services in their Wealth Management division and worked with a team to manage approximately $1.5B in assets. Though she survived the 2008 recession and beyond, she wanted to pivot into an industry in which she could combine her creativity with her strategic mindset and was ready for a new challenge. She completed her MBA at New York University, which laid the foundation for her transition into media and landed her at NBCU.
Originally from the Bay Area, Sachdeva has a B.A. in Business Economics, as well as a minor in Management from the University of California, Irvine. She enjoys listening to Frank Sinatra and playing Sudoku in her free time.
