Kristin Edwards

Kristin joined The WICT Network in 2010 and brings a strong association background to the organization with over 15 years of experience as a non-profit executive specializing in gender equity. In her current role, she serves as the Vice President of Member and Chapter Development, where she is responsible for directing the strategic growth of The WICT Network’s membership and guiding the success of the organization’s 24 domestic and international chapters. Prior to taking on her current role, Kristin held positions inside the organization’s Marketing & Communications and Business Development departments, overseeing The WICT Network’s external messaging and branding and providing stewardship to its sponsors and stakeholders.

At her previous organization, the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, she managed the membership and chapter network and worked in conjunction with the volunteer leadership, serving as the liaison to the organization’s various national committees. Prior to that, Kristin worked for the American Psychiatric Association providing extensive research and editorial support to the world’s leading psychiatrists for the implementation of the DSM-V.

A native New Yorker, Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany. She lives in Atlanta, GA, with her three daughters.
