Kristin Filipovits

​Kristin Filipovits is a Director in Marketing Communications at Comcast.  She joined Comcast in August 2014 where she leads the integrated communications strategy across Xfinity Home, Solar and Prepaid.  In addition to managing all of the marketing initiatives and advertising campaigns that drive acquisition and awareness for these lines of business, she also works closely with the business units and operations teams to develop end-to-end communications plans for new product launches and feature enhancements.

 

Kristin started her career in New York City within the affiliate marketing department at MTV Networks. She moved into consumer marketing at Fuse TV and then at Food Network where she was tasked with helping launch Cooking Channel by creating national experiential campaigns and developing brand-defining media and retail partnerships.

 

In 2012, Kristin moved to Philadelphia to work in account management at the award-winning boutique agency, Red Tettemer O’Connell and Partners. There, she managed new and existing clients like Century 21, Reyka Vodka, SEPTA, Dial for Men and NBCU and led the campaign that produced a Super Bowl spot for Century 21.

 

Kristin graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Communications. She currently lives in South Philadelphia where enjoys cooking, seeing live music and traveling.
