Kristina Song

Kristina Song is a Vice President of Programming at Time Warner Cable and is responsible for negotiating carriage agreements for cable networks, broadcast stations, theatrical movies, and VOD programs for distribution on cable systems and Road Runner.  Included in these negotiations are rights for Start Over, Quick Clips, interactive applications and other enhanced television features.  She is also responsible for all corporate programming initiatives related to Time Warner Cable’s Los Angeles and Midwest regions.
 
Prior to joining Time Warner Cable’s Programming Department, Song served as Senior Counsel at Time Warner Cable, Executive Director in the Legal Department at Disney ABC Cable Networks Group, and Senior Counsel in the Legal and Business Affairs Department at Turner Network Sales, where she began her career in cable in 1999.  She started her professional career as a securities lawyer at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York City.
 
Song is a member of WICT and NAMIC, and was a member of the second class of NAMIC’s Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP).  She earned her J.D. at Harvard Law School, her Master of Science at Oxford University in comparative social research, and her A.B. at Harvard College in sociology.  She currently resides in New York City with her dog Biscuit.
