Kristine Faulkner is senior vice president and general manager, Cox Home Security and Smart Home. She is the operational and innovative leader focused on driving growth of the Home Security and Smart Home market – one of Cox’s fastest growing services divisions. She leads and oversees all related operational strategies for this business unit and related to the Cox Homelife product line, including marketing, sales, customer experience and advanced services development.
Prior to her current role, Kristine served as vice president of new growth operations on Cox Communications strategy team. In this role, she was responsible for incubating new growth opportunities for Cox.
Previously, Kristine served as vice president of product development and management for Cox’s business services division. Her team was responsible for leading the definition, development and implementation of commercial products for Cox Business’ customers, as well as ongoing product lifecycle management. Kristine built a business services portfolio that drove Cox Business from $90 million in revenue to more than $1.5 billion in annual revenue over 13 years, setting an industry standard in commercial services.
A vocal proponent of advancing the role of women in the cable industry and business community, Kristine was named to the 2010 Class of Multichannel News Wonder Women. She’s an active member of CTAM, co-chaired its business services council for several years and received the CTAM Rainmaker Award in 2009. Previously, Kristine served as membership director for the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Atlanta board in 2009 and 2010. She was also awarded the 2009 Red Letter Catalyst Award by the WICT Atlanta Chapter. She has been recognized in CableWorld’s “Top Women in Cable Tech” and consistently recognized on CableFAX’s “Most Powerful Women in Cable” list over the years.
Kristine serves on the Foundation Board of Trustees at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) and co-chairs the corporate committee to engage corporate community support for children’s health and wellness needs in Atlanta. She holds a particular interest in advancing pediatric cardiovascular surgical research to better serve and provide outcomes for children with congenital heart defects.
A Newport News, Virginia native, Kristine lives in Alpharetta, Ga. She holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Ithaca College in New York. Kristine is a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI Class XVI), WICT’s flagship executive leadership program.
