Kristy Stephens works for Comcast in Denver, CO as Director of Business Assurance. In this role, she is responsible for leveraging cross-functional relationships to implement operational improvements and drive financial results. She also has oversight of the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls and ensuring employees comply with Comcast policies and procedures. Prior to joining the Mile High Region, Kristy worked in California where she was Director of Business Operations and provided leadership and support to Finance, Warehouse, Fleet and Facilities staff.
Kristy has over 17 years of experience in both Finance and Operations Management for a variety of industries including Construction, Manufacturing, and Non-Profit. Her vast experience includes Financial Analysis, Forecast & Budgeting, and Inventory Management. Kristy graduated from Fresno State with a degree in Accounting and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Business Management at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Prior to joining Comcast, Kristy worked as Director of Finance at Community Food Bank in Fresno, CA. As a member of the senior leadership team, she was able to use her business acumen to participate in strategically growing the organization. In 2010 Community Food Bank distributed over 26 million lbs. of food to the community, up from 14.5 million lbs. the previous year. Kristy continues to support community involvement through participation in Comcast sponsored community events including Comcast Cares Day & United Way.
