Laura Forti

Laura Forti serves as vice president of distribution for Turner’s Entertainment Networks, including TBS, TNT and truTV. Forti is responsible for pursuing and brokering high-level international opportunities and strategic partnerships with Turner International, third-party distributors and broadcasters on behalf of Turner’s top-rated networks. She also oversees the international delivery of all broadcast and promotional materials for truTV, TBS and TNT programming.

 

Since being named vice president in November 2013, Forti has brokered international deals for such TNT hits as The Last Ship, Falling Skies and this year’s eagerly anticipated Good Behavior. She has also overseen international distribution for the new TBS hits Angie Tribeca, The Detour and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, as well as truTV’s Those Who Can’t.

 

Forti began working for Turner in 2006, when the company acquired her previous employer, Court TV. She has held a variety of roles within the international distribution and business affairs divisions, including as international distribution/co-production and business affairs manager for truTV, which transformed from Court TV in 2008. Forti is based in Los Angeles and reports to Patrick Kelly, executive vice president of business affairs for TBS & TNT.

Forti earned her bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey, spending a portion of her time studying at The University of Oxford.
