As vice president of internal communications for Cablevision Systems Corporation, Laura Gorham leads the development, execution and management of the company’s internal communication strategies, deploying innovative and multi-dimensional programs that engage and inspire Cablevision’s more than 15,000 employees.
In her two years at Cablevision, Laura has been instrumental in developing new executive communication channels designed to raise senior leadership visibility and provide employees with a deeper understanding of the business and their role in delivering company objectives. She has also led the creation of new communication models for transformational initiatives to ensure greater understanding of business impact, consistency of message and increased employee engagement.
Prior to joining Cablevision, Laura worked in the transportation and logistics industry for over 10 years. At CEVA Logistics, the world’s fourth largest supply chain management company, Laura was responsible for all marketing and communications activities in the Americas, focused on improving CEVA’s external awareness and brand recognition and developing innovative internal communication programs in support of the Company’s vision and strategy.
Laura received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Texas A&M University. She is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Women in Communications (WIC) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
