Lauren Nix is a Senior Human Resources Manager with the Technology, Product, and Experience (TPX) group at Comcast. In this role, Lauren acts as an internal HR consultant in all areas of HR business strategy including Organization Design, Talent Management & Development, and Employee Engagement for her three client technology teams. She is a trusted business partner and known for her creative and solution oriented approach.
Prior to joining Comcast, Lauren worked at Wayfair where she was the Associate Director of Human Resources and Facilities. In her role at Wayfair, Lauren oversaw the growth and evolution of the HR team in the areas of HR Operations & Strategy, Performance Coaching & Management, Benefits, Employee Relations, Compliance, and Facilities Management & Space Expansion as the company grew from 500 to 5,000 employees worldwide over 7 years.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College in Boston. She serves on the Employee Resource Group Mentorship Program board and volunteers with Collective Success, a nonprofit that provides support and mentorship opportunities to low-income, first-generation college students. She and her husband live in downtown Philadelphia and enjoy travelling, exploring Philadelphia, and discovering new ciders.
