Over her eighteen years with Cablevision, Laurie Martone has held several varied and interesting roles within its central Information Technology department. For the past ten years, she has been focused on implementation of new data technologies. As Director of Business Support Services for Enterprise Data Management, Laurie collaborates with internal users on their information strategy and ensures their data needs are met. Previously, Laurie was Director of Data Warehouse Systems where she led a team in the creation of large scale data warehouse solutions.
Prior to her data responsibilities, Laurie served as an IT Business Alliance Manager, liaison to Cablevision’s Cable Operations division during its transition from regional to central management. She worked closely with senior business management to ensure Enterprise IT was aligned with business unit goals and strategies, during the launch of Cablevision’s flagship Optimum products. She has also served as the Software Manager for Marketing Systems.
Before joining Cablevision, Laurie worked as a software developer and technical manager in the banking services industry. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Smith College, and her Masters of Science in Management Engineering from Long Island University, where she was awarded the Samuel Stephenson award for top academic excellence.
Laurie currently lives in Sea Cliff, NY, where she serves on the Village Planning Board and as co-Chair of the Sea Cliff Ambulance Fund.
