Laurie is a Director of Learning and Development for the Sales & Marketing division of Charter Communications. Her primary responsibility is serving as the leadership development liaison, connecting individuals with resources, classes, and other opportunities to promote career growth and development. Laurie also is a key project team member for a targeted front line and mid level sales leadership training program where she is lending her expertise in instructional design and curriculum development, while also collaborating with team member leaders from the sales channels.
Laurie began her career in Telecommunications at Cablevision Systems Corp on Long Island in 1998, where she served in several roles in Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Customer Communications, and Process Management. She joined Charter Communications in 2014. Prior to Cablevision, she worked for Citibank with roles in Marketing, Performance Consulting, Training Delivery and Instructional Design.
Laurie holds an MBA in Marketing from Adelphi University and a BA in Communications from SUNY at Albany. She is a member of WICT and ATD. Outside of work Laurie serves as Secretary on the Board of the St. Luke’s Athletics Association in Farmingdale, NY and cherishes time with her family and close friends. Laurie lives with her husband and two adult children in Wantagh, Long Island, New York.
