Lee Crain

Lee Crain is Senior Vice President, National Accounts – TV Networks Distribution for NBC Universal.  She oversees major accounts including Charter, DIRECTV and DISH Network, and is responsible for securing the distribution for a multi-billion dollar content portfolio of 16 cable networks (including USA, Syfy, CNBC, MSNBC and Bravo), the Olympics, and retransmission consent for NBC and Telemundo owned-and-operated stations. Crain also works with NBC Universal’s Digital Distribution division to deliver digital services to the company’s TV Networks Distribution partners. 

Crain began her career with NBC in November 1994 as Regional Manager, Affiliate Sales. She has been instrumental in the growth and distribution of NBC Universal’s television assets since joining the company. Crain has managed affiliate sales at various points in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest regions, as well as Canada. During this time, Crain was also selected to move to Singapore where she was Director of Distribution, Southeast Asia, and managed the distribution of CNBC Asia and the National Geographic Channel. Prior to serving as Senior Vice President, National Accounts, Crain was Vice President, National Accounts.

A 14-year cable veteran, Crain actively participates in industry organizations and has held multiple leadership and Board positions during her career. Active within the community, Crain recently participated in a volunteer effort with Cable Positive, the cable and telecommunications industry’s AIDS action organization, by lending her time to Washington D.C.’s vital AIDS service organization, Food & Friends, during the Cable Show ’09.

Crain is a graduate of Virginia Tech and resides in the Seattle, Washington area with her husband and their three sons.
