Leigh Powell-Heika is the Media Strategies Manager for the Scripps Networks Interactive brands, Food Network and Cooking Channel. In this role, Leigh leads a team that plays an integral part in the development and implementation of the on and off-air marketing campaigns. With the goal of driving ratings and awareness for the brands, she identifies priorities, determines the promotional assets needed and ensures the accurate and effective scheduling of these assets with her team.
Prior to joining the Scripps family in 2009, Leigh began her career as a Promo Scheduling Coordinator for VoomHD Networks where she was responsible for scheduling the promo elements for two domestic and two international channels.
Leigh earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts where she studied 3D Design and Animation. She’s a native New Yorker and currently lives in Staten Island, NY with her husband and pets.
