Linda Williams

Linda Williams is the director of human resources for Time Warner Cable in Colorado Springs, CO.  She serves as a human resources leader in the West Region and is responsible for employee relations   as well as employee engagement.
Ms. Williams has been with Time Warner Cable since 1989.  Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Linda worked for United Banks of Colorado, now known as Wells Fargo, as human resources and training consultant.  She holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Arizona State University.

Ms. Williams is very active in both professional and community organizations.  She served a three-year term as chair of the board of directors for the local Mile Hi Council of Girl Scouts.  In addition, Linda has been involved with the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Colorado Human Resource Association (CHRA), the Cable Television Human Resource Association (CTHRA), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Urban League of Metropolitan Denver and formerly she served on the board of trustees of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

The enthusiasm and effort that Ms. Williams puts into her volunteer service has also earned her numerous awards and recognitions.  Linda has received Time Warner’s prestigious Andrew Heiskell Community Service Award and the National Friend of NAMIC Award.  Locally, she was presented with the Denver Trailblazer Award from the American Association of University Women, and in 2003, the WICT Rocky Mountain Chapter selected Linda to the 2003 Walk of Fame.  She is a 2004 graduate of the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program.

Linda is married to Larry A. Williams and is the proud mother of two sons.
