Lisa Korry Cheek is a Local Sales Manager for Comcast Spotlight, responsible for managing a sales team that works with local business to create partnerships in developing marketing strategies utilizing Comcast’s progressive mediums. She has been in this role since 2010.
Her responsibilities include managing a remote sales team, most of whom home office, within a 450 mile geography, and collaborating with support teams in Denver to help facilitate a healthy relationship between the multiple departments and her sales staff.
Lisa was identified as a high potential leader and worked with HR to create an Individual Development plan to help grow her skills. Since then, she’s helped other leaders with recruitment and interviewing strategies as well as mentoring programs.
She offices in Breckenridge but has the pleasure of overseeing advertising sales in Aspen, Vail, Steamboat, Breckenridge and Boulder, where the University of Colorado is located.
Lisa started her sales career as a Local Account Executive for a group of resort radio stations in Colorado. She stayed in radio and progressed over 20 years to Market Manager, overseeing sales, operations and programming for 3 radio stations.
Lisa has a BA from the University of Illinois in Speech Communications. She is kept busy outside of work with her 9 and 12 year olds who are competitive ski racers and her husband Darron, a competitive cyclist. Her passions include skiing, biking and running. Additionally, she sits on the Executive Board for the Breckenridge Film Festival and Breckenridge Music Festival.
