Lisa Walsh serves as Sr. Director of Human Resources for Comcast’s Greater Boston Region which consists of more than 4,000 employees, serving communities in Maine, New Hampshire, Greater Boston, and Southeastern Massachusetts. In this role, Lisa has responsibility for leading the human resources organization that partners and provides support to the Technical Operations and Engineering organization. With her team, her responsibilities include employee engagement, employee relations, change management, and organizational development.
Lisa has over 12 years of experience in the cable industry, holding various management and human resource positions with Comcast and its predecessor companies, including MediaOne and AT&T Broadband.
Lisa began her career in cable as a Human Resources Consultant for MediaOne, a position she held for two years, before being promoted to Human Resources Manager. When AT&T Broadband acquired MediaOne, she was promoted to Director of Human Resources for the Southeastern Massachusetts Region. In 2007, Lisa was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources. Through consolidation activity, she stepped back into a Sr. Director role.
Prior to joining Comcast, she served for 10 years in a variety of human resources positions for the TJX Corporation, including roles in the field, distribution centers, as well as their corporate offices.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management/ Economics from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Greater Plymouth County United Way Chapter. In addition, she is a 2007 graduate of the Women Unlimited LEAD Program.
