Loren Cooper

Loren Cooper is Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting, Domestic Ad Sales, Domestic Distribution & Sports for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.). In her current role, Cooper leads financial reporting, budgeting, long-term planning and forecasting and analysis for the ad sales, distribution and sports divisions, as well as accounting for sports. She also serves as a key strategic advisor to the leadership team of these divisions.  In addition, her role includes office management functions at Time Warner Center. Cooper is based in New York and reports to John Kampfe, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for TBS, Inc.

Previously, as Vice President of Finance for ad sales, Cooper oversaw financial planning, reporting and analysis, accounting and compliance matters for the ad sales division. Her past achievements include implementing continually improved advertising revenue processes and analysis across all of the domestic businesses (Entertainment; News; and Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media divisions) and developing a valuable executive reporting tool. Additionally, Cooper and her team successfully executed finance and accounting advertising sales integrations for several new, complex linear and digital businesses, including truTV (then Court TV), NBA Digital and most recently, the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship jointly sold by TBS, Inc. and CBS.

Cooper has more than 18 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing.  Prior to joining Turner in 1999, Loren was an audit manager for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P.  She is a licensed C.P.A. and earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the State University of New York, Albany.
