Prior to joining WICT in 2013, Lynann held various positions within the meetings and hospitality arena, including Senior Event Manager for Marriott and Ritz Carlton, in addition to marketing and events management experience with various companies, such as Charles River Development and McKesson Health Care Solutions.
Lynann’s association experience began with her entry-level position with FMI (Food Marketing Institute) in 2000. During her time there, she managed various programs including the association’s annual city-wide conference in Chicago. She gained a great deal of experience and knowledge of the inner-workings of an association, and by the time she left FMI she had advanced to Director of Convention Operations.
Born and raised in Burke, Virginia, Lynann currently resides in Washington, DC. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Radford University. In her off hours, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and she is an avid football, baseball and hockey fan. While she backs the hometown team in most sports, football is where she splits off and is a huge fan of the NY Giants.
