Lynne F. Seid is a Partner in the Global Marketing Officers Practice and also heads up the firm’s Digital Transformation Practice. Lynne joined the firm coming from a senior management career in advertising and new media. Lynne’s extensive experience in advertising, marketing and digital media, bolstered by her network of relationships in these industries, make her an extraordinary asset to the firm and the Practice. Lynne’s unique skill-set enables Heidrick to provide additional value to clients in that sector and beyond.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Lynne was Partner of Visible World, a pioneering new media technology company that develops customized addressable video advertising on TV and broadband platforms.
Previously, Lynne was President of Foote Cone & Belding New York, the flagship office of Foote Cone & Belding Worldwide, dramatically enhancing the agency’s capabilities in digital communications. Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President, Chief Client Officer at BBDO New York, one of the most creatively-acclaimed agencies in the world. At BBDO, she established a new business process that provided clients a 360-degree suite of marketing assets, resulting in wins of over a half billion dollars in additional billings.
Before joining BBDO, she was president of Partners & Shevack, Inc., a New York-based advertising agency, where she pioneered the first totally integrated marketing models for their clients. In 2000, she also assumed the Presidency of their joint venture, Symphoni, which provided clients such as General Electric Financial Services with high level e-crm capabilities.
She also is the only search consultant ever to serve on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Advertising Club of NY, which sponsors the prestigious International Andy Awards creative competition. She has authored a number of thought-leadership efforts for the firm, most recently on the digital talent issues.
Lynne has recently worked on digital and marketing and communications searches for AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, General Electric, Sony, TD Ameritrade, Microsoft, J. Crew, Estee Lauder, Coca-Cola, Activision, Publicis Group, United Airlines, and others. Lynne earned her bachelor’s degree in art history from Goucher College. She is also a recipient of the YWCA’s Hall of Women Achievers.
In her personal time, Lynne devotes her efforts to advising the Tribeca Film Institute, TruEffect – an ad technology company, and Brand Value Advisors.
