Madeline Johnson

Madeline Johnson serves as Coordinator of Partner Marketing for NBCUniversal’s Content Distribution division, reporting to Kim Bernardo, Director, and Dana Reyngoudt, Vice President.

In her role, Madeline manages the day-to-day marketing relationship with linear and digital providers and partners for NBCUniversal’s’ News portfolio (NBC News, MSNBC, and CNBC), implementing marketing tactics and unique partnerships to highlight priority programming such as Decision 2020. Madeline also partners with the NBC Sports group to provide marketing support on tentpole initiatives such as the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Madeline and her team are pivotal to distribution renewal campaigns and help to secure significant carriage agreements. In the summer and fall months of 2017, Madeline started her career in media as an intern with Content Distribution at NBCUniversal.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Madeline worked as a Marketing Assistant at Oxford University Press in their Global Product department, bridging across internal marketing, publicity, and editorial teams and external publications and platforms for the execution of various high-profile campaigns, including ‘The New Negro’ winning the 2019 Pulitzer Prize in Biography.

Madeline is an active member of WICT, first joining in 2017 as an undergraduate student. Later Madeline was elevated to the Marketing Committee, and she currently sits on the board of WICT NY as the Social Media Chair where she actively markets WICT opportunities and events to a growing social audience. She is passionate about creating partnerships and opportunities to amplify unique voices in the media sphere.

Madeline graduated from Fordham University in 2018 with her BA in Political Science/English and currently resides in NYC.
