Mallory Summers

​Mallory Summers currently serves as the Manager of Strategy for The Weather Channel in Atlanta, GA. In this role she is consistently on the frontlines of new initiatives and challenges. She is responsible for informing and developing various company strategies, including renewal strategy and budget management, while taking on critical special projects; during the winter of 2015, she assisted the Chief Financial Officer with company-wide strategic initiatives during the sale of The Weather Channel’s digital and professional properties.

 

In April 2010 Mallory began working with The Weather Channel as a temporary administrative assistant. Under the tutelage of several executive members of the Company, she has enjoyed learning various aspects of the business by occupying several different roles including Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Process Improvement, Distribution, and Corporate Strategy. She was promoted to her current role in March 2015.

 

Mallory holds a dual degree in Biopsychology and Studio Art from Oglethorpe University, a small liberal arts college in Atlanta. She earned her Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute in 2013. In addition to her work at The Weather Channel she is an active member of WICT and serves as the Treasurer of the Atlanta Chi Omega Alumnae Association. She enjoys traveling and exploring the city of Atlanta with her husband and three dogs.
