Mandy Cohen joined ESPN in 2005 as a producer for Event Production. She is responsible for managing live, on-air broadcasts of sporting events. Currently, she travels around the country to produce weekly National Basketball Association telecasts.
In addition to her NBA duties, Mandy has produced telecasts for Major League Baseball, World Baseball Classic, WNBA Regular Season and Finals, X Games, Winter X Games, College Football, College Basketball, the French Open and Wimbledon.
Prior to her tenure at ESPN, she received an Emmy for her work on the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece with NBC. She was also the Coordinating Producer of Major League Baseball at Fox Sports Net in Los Angeles, a Producer for Fox Sports in Detroit as well as for WGN-TV in Chicago. While at WGN, Mandy and her broadcast team won six Emmys for outstanding coverage of the Chicago Bulls.
Born in New York City she has resided in six other states: Maryland, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, California and Connecticut. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University.
