Marcy Pentoney is a Senior Manager of Product Development at Cox Media, the advertising sales division of Cox Communications, headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Throughout her four years with the company, Marcy has been instrumental in expanding Cox Media’s product portfolio and growing revenue in the areas of digital media and advanced television. Marcy has led the development and launch of several key product initiatives, including Cox Media’s first digital video audience extension offering (2014), dynamic ad insertion in video on demand (2016), and addressable targeting in video on demand (2017). Marcy’s current focus is on expanding Cox Media’s TV Everywhere product portfolio.
Throughout her professional career, Marcy has demonstrated success in building profitable advertising businesses in both small and corporate environments. Marcy is driven by her passion for the advertising business and the excitement of bringing a product vision to life, from concept to launch. Her previous roles include digital advertising sales for broadcast TV duopoly, WBOC-TV and FOX21 in Salisbury, MD and product management for Draper Digital Media in Salisbury, MD.
Marcy is an alumnus of Temple University in Philadelphia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media from the School of Communications and Theater in 2007, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is currently a 2018 Master of Business Administration candidate at Mercer University in Atlanta.
Outside of work, Marcy has a passion for music, food, craft beer, connecting with people and being active with her family. She is a volunteer running coach for the Atlanta Track Club and a member of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, GA. Marcy resides in Roswell, GA, with her wonderful husband Ben, precious daughter Quinn and handsome lab Drake.
