Maria Goldsholl

Maria Goldsholl, chief operating officer of Mom Corps, has spent more than 16 years in organizational and talent development, executive search, culture management and work/life program implementation.  Goldsholl joined Mom Corps in 2006.

As Chief Operating Officer, Goldsholl is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of Mom Corps and oversees organizational improvements to increase partnerships between organizations seeking qualified candidates through Mom Corps.  Goldsholl manages expansion efforts and sales nationwide, in addition to playing an integral role in developing Mom Corps’ approach to growth.

Before coming to Mom Corps, Goldsholl served as the Director of Organizational Development for The Weather Channel, where she was responsible for diversity efforts, succession planning and work/life programs.  Prior to that, she was a partner and Managing Director for the executive search firm The Right Brain Group, Inc.   Goldsholl founded The Right Brain Group, which specialized in search for senior level creative talent for the entertainment industry.  Goldsholl’s career includes roles as a Director of Human Resources for companies including Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. and National Video Center, as well as a brief stint in the consulting world with Towers Perrin.

 A native of New York, NY, Goldsholl earned a degree in psychology from the University of La Verne in Athens, Greece and later earned a master’s degree in organizational behavior from Brooklyn College in New York.  Her expertise has been cited and featured in such national media outlets as The Wall Street Journal, Working Mother Magazine, Entrepreneur, and Atlanta Journal-Constitution
