Marta Kemist Harmon is Executive Director, Marketing & Advertising for The Style Network. She is responsible for network brand strategy and consumer marketing initiatives, and oversees the planning and placement of all network media campaigns including cable, satellite, radio, print, outdoor and online advertising. As part of her role, she works with internal creative departments, outside agencies, programming, scheduling, editorial, business development and publicity to ensure that The Style Network brand messaging and show positioning is consistent across all platforms. Since joining Style in 2005, Marta has been instrumental in developing content partnerships and marketing relationships with various publishers including Conde Nast, Hearst and Martha Stewart Omnimedia.
Marta manages Style’s pro-social initiatives including multi-tier campaigns for skin cancer prevention and an exclusive media partnership with Dress for Success, a worldwide non-profit agency dedicated to providing underprivileged women with professional attire, career resources and the support needed to succeed in work and in life.
Before joining The Style Network, Marta worked at The WB Television Network in Integrated Marketing, collaborating with advertisers on branded entertainment programs, product integration and promotions for both WB Primetime and KidsWB. She began her career in the Bay Area with Arthur Anderson Business Consulting, and then continued on to work in fashion, e-commerce and high tech. Marta holds a B.A with Distinction from Stanford University.
