Mary Maldonado is a Director of Human Resources with Time Warner Cable (TWC) in NYC. In her role she supports a Technical Operations group of 2000 employees. In this role she is responsible for the implementation and execution of effective human resources practices including change management, employee engagement, leadership coaching, talent assessment and labor relations.
She specializes in driving a performance culture and measurable results through a unique combination of communication skills, employee relations acumen and policy expertise to best support business partners, empower leaders and strengthen the business. The support Mary and her team provided to Technical Operations was a contributing factor in the group surpassing company goals in 2015. More importantly accomplishing a performance turnaround unprecedented in the industry.
A cornerstone of Mary’s career was built on her commitment to operating with integrity this has translated itself in her career as a unique ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with employees at all levels of the organization.
Mary has a diverse background in both experience and industries; she has worked in higher education, research, government and philanthropic institutions supporting client groups as large as 3,000 in the disciplines of benefits, compensation, compliance, staffing, retention, training, payroll and recruiting.
Mary earned her designation of PHR as Professional in Human Resources in 1999 and has over 20+ years of progressive HR experience. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Deviant Behavior and Social Control from John Jay College and an Executive Masters in Labor Relations from the Zicklin School of Business. She is an active member of NAMIC, SHRM, SCTE & WICT. Her other interests include reading nonfiction, traveling, decorating and checking items off her bucket list.
