Maureen Huff

Maureen Huff has been at Time Warner Cable since 2006.  Her primary responsibilities are to develop strategy, create communications plans and press releases, and cover media relations for a variety of topics related to the company’s video product.  During her tenure at Time Warner Cable, she has covered numerous special projects, including many programming and retransmission consent disputes and the launch of several new services.

Her previous cable industry experience began in 1998 at Bresnan Communications. There, she was responsible for all media relations activities, as well as the creation of public affairs strategies. She managed community relations initiatives, including targeted charitable events and innovative educational programs, and oversaw the company’s involvement with several cable industry initiatives, such as Cable in the Classroom.

Prior to joining Bresnan, Ms. Huff worked for the Kohl Children’s Museum in Wilmette, Illinois, where she was responsible for public relations for the museum and all of its related early childhood development programs. Previously, she was with the New York City Economic Development Corporation, working with local community boards to create beneficial strategies for commercial real estate development projects.  Ms. Huff began her professional career in Washington DC, where she worked on several successful political campaigns and also served as Press Secretary to former Congressman Hamilton Fish.  Ms. Huff received a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Lehigh University.
