Maureen McCabe Moore

Maureen Moore currently serves as Chief, Customer Experience Officer for GCI, the largest Alaska-based telecommunications provider.  In this newly created position, Maureen is responsible for the creation and execution of an overall customer experience strategy for all services (Cable TV, Internet, Wireless, and Local/Long Distance phone) and all customer touch points. Additionally she is responsible for the employees and operations of 38 company-owned stores, 2 call centers and the supporting field operations.

 

Maureen’s career has been primarily focuse

d on marketing and sales with more than 25 years of experience in total, including 18 years at GCI.  Through progressive positions, she played key roles in assimilating and rebranding 3 cable companies and the launch of new product lines, including Internet, local phone service and wireless, as GCI grew from a long distance company into a fully integrated telecommunications company.  Her responsibilities include financial growth and maintaining market share leadership positions in all product lines. 

 

She serves on the board of Covenant House Alaska and is also the Alaska state chairperson for the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program.  In addition, she served on the task force appointed by the Alaska Commissioner of Commerce, Community and Economic Development that developed a statewide broadband plan to accelerate the deployment, availability and adoption of affordable broadband technology throughout the state.     

 

Maureen graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration and she resides in Anchorage, AK with her 15 year old daughter, Ellie.
