Mayling Hernandez has over 19 years experience in the cable and telecommunications industry. She started with American Cablevision in Kansas City in November 1992 as a Customer Service Representative where she was promoted to Telemarketing Supervisor in April 1996 and in the last 14 years she has been involved in outbound and inbound sales in a managerial position. Since she started, has worked very closely with the Marketing- Sales and other departments in the company. She is a key player with her bilingual (Spanish and English) abilities. Currently she is the Sales and Retention Manager for the Kansas City and Lincoln areas, managing a staff of 50+ employees including five supervisors, inbound sales and retention agents. She is responsible for 42% of the revenue generating units for Kansas City and Lincoln.
She was one of the Founding Members of the Time Warner Cable Diversity and Inclusion Council and now she is a member of our local team and active member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Science from UPR (University of Puerto Rico) and a Medical Degree from UCE in Dominican Republic. She is married for 30 years, has twin daughters 28 years old and enjoys her evening and weekends with her family and adopted pet.
