Meeka Bondy

Meeka Bondy is currently Vice President, Legal Affairs, for Home Box Office, Inc., where she oversees legal matters pertaining to the domestic syndication and worldwide distribution of HBO and Cinemax programming, and supervises a team of attorneys and administrators that manage the legal aspects of the company’s facilities-related and technology-related operations.  Ms. Bondy came to HBO from Time Warner Interactive Video Group, Inc., where she was Vice President, Legal Affairs, functioning as general counsel for Mystro TV, a start-up charged with developing and commercializing a revolutionary server-based digital video recorder and on-demand cable television service.  Ms. Bondy started her in-house legal career as Associate Counsel at Time Inc., where she was responsible for legal matters relating to the new media and information technology projects of the magazine company.  Ms. Bondy received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, and began her legal career at Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP, where she represented a variety of companies in the media, financial services, technology and telecommunications areas.
