Megan Van Tine is the manager of corporate communications and publicity for Crown Media Family Networks, home of three linear networks, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama; subscription video on demand streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now; and publishing division, Hallmark Publishing. She is based in New York and reports to Vice President of Corporate Communications & Talent Relations, Allison Bennett.
Van Tine is responsible for supporting Bennett with the development and execution of strategic corporate communications and trade media relations campaigns to effectively position Crown Media’s business developments, distribution expansion, marketing initiatives, ratings news, brand messaging, and more. She also manages internal communications efforts, supporting the company’s various human resources initiatives.
Van Tine began her career in 2015 at Bray Entertainment as a production assistant and casting associate, working on cable shows such as TLC’s Single Dad Seeking…, Food Network’s American Diner Revival, and Science Channel’s All-American Makers. She joined Crown Media in 2017 as an advertising sales assistant and joined the corporate communications team as a coordinator in 2018. In 2019, Van Tine was named a Cynopsis Media “Rising Star”.
Van Tine earned a bachelor’s degree in communication in television and radio as well as an MBA in corporate and public communication from Monmouth University.
