Melissa Lapp is Senior Director of Brand Marketing for Comcast Business. In this role, Melissa is responsible for driving overall brand strategy, identity, and in-market positioning for Comcast Business across all segments. Melissa also drives creative strategy and campaign development for paid media initiatives and partnerships focused on brand awareness and consideration and manage all social media and content thought leadership. In this role, Melissa works closely with a cross-functional team at Comcast HQ Philadelphia as well as Division and Regional partners across the country.
Prior to joining Comcast, Melissa worked in Brand Communications at American Express. Her role was focused on driving overall brand favorability for Amex through impactful communications and paid media. In this role, Melissa honed her focus on B2B through critical initiatives such as Shop Small, American Express OPEN, and Small Business Saturday.
Melissa started her career in advertising account management as Grey NYC and Arnold Worldwide working on brand including LongHorn Steakhouse and Hershey’s Chocolate.
Melissa is a graduate of Boston University and lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with husband and pitbull, Rhea. In her free time, Melissa loves doing home projects, reading, and working out as a new Peloton convert (like many others!).
