Melissa Mendoza graduated from the University of Scranton in 2002 with a dual degree in Secondary Education and English. She started her career at Huntington Learning Center and later taught high school English in Camden, New Jersey.
In 2008, Melissa moved on from education and joined Comcast, where she was one of the first three employees hired to start Comcast’s Digital Care team. Over the years, she continued to move up in her career, from Specialist, to Escalations, to Supervisor, and now, to Operations Manager. She has directly impacted the growth of Digital Care and assisted in building the policies and practices for the now 400-person team. Melissa excels in communication, training, coaching, customer care via social media and leading in a virtual environment.
