Merri Pedersen is the Director of Software Development and Engineering in the OSS area of Systems Engineering at Comcast in Denver, Colorado. Merri came to Comcast from Qwest, where she managed large software development teams. She currently leads teams responsible for providing analysis, design, development, deployment and support of critical OSS Tools applications, supporting 20,000 daily users across engineering, XOC and care organizations.
Merri has a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and is pursuing a Master of Science in Organization Leadership with emphasis in the IT industry.
Outside of work, Merri enjoys spending time with her husband doing various outdoor activities such as running, biking, hiking, golf, and tennis. She has two children – her daughter is graduating from CSU in May with a degree in Animal Science/Business; her son is a sophomore at Arizona Western College where he is playing baseball and plans to study Kinesiology.
