Michele Slattery is the Director of Sales for TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS), the seventh largest local exchange telephone company in the U.S and a growing force in the cable industry. TDS provides 1.2 million connections to high-speed Internet, dedicated fiber, phone, and TV entertainment services in more than 150 communities.
Michele is a high impact leader with over 24 years of experience building and leading value-based teams in a competitive marketplace. Michele joined TDS in 1997 where she held leadership positions in the business marketing group for the first 13 years. During her marketing tenure she was instrumental in company growth, customer acquisition and brand positioning for the commercial organization. Her core foundation is based on results driven activities that utilize an analytical approach to gain return on investments and grow revenues.
Leveraging her marketing experience, Michele joined the sales leadership team in 2010. Currently, Michele is leading the commercial sales cable organization and consumer sales teams in both cable and wireline markets. These sales teams are instrumental to market share growth and meeting company revenue targets. In this role Michele focuses on driving strategy to focus on strengths, competitive advantages and differentiation through long term plans that impact the achievement of business results. In addition, she directs the Sales Enablement team for the entire commercial organization. The Enablement team focuses on continuous improvement in regards to sales productivity, technology and go-to-market strategies.
Michele graduated from Edgewood College summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
