Mindy Kang is Sr. Manager of Product Development for the Video-On-Demand platform, which impacts 22 million customers and averages 350 million views per month. In her role, she prioritizes development roadmaps, defines requirements and user stories, and manages product launches from trial to deployment.
Prior to joining the Technology and Product organization in 2011, Mindy held a position in Comcast’s Competitive Marketing Strategy department. She spent 7 years in that organization, helping to build the competitive research and marketing strategy group from its inception to the mature, responsive knowledge distribution machine it is today. Her responsibilities included helping to shape competitive offer strategy, managing the product roadmaps and enterprise-wide deployment of web applications, and research and analysis of new competitor technology.
Mindy is an active member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and attended the WICT EDS program in November of 2012. She is also co-chair of the Comcast Affinity Groups Mentorship Program, which was established in 2012 as the first formal mentorship program dedicated to connecting high-potential Comcast employees to leaders within the organization.
Mindy received her Bachelors of Science degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business in New York City. She lives in Philadelphia, PA with her husband, Peter.
