Mindy Kramer

Mindy Kramer is the Vice President of Public Relations for Comcast’s Florida Region, which serves more than three million customers throughout the state of Florida and is the Company’s largest region in terms of customers. 

 

Kramer oversee all aspects of external and internal communications, including creating the public relations strategy to support Comcast’s business initiatives and executing media relations activities to generate awareness for Xfinity products, services and programming.  Kramer serves as the primary spokesperson for the Florida Region and is responsible for providing proactive and reactive direction and messaging to business leaders concerning critical issues and reputation risks.

 

Kramer also manages the Region’s Employee Communications function, focused on developing communications plans that align and engage the organization around Comcast’s business strategy and operating priorities. 

 

Prior to joining Comcast in 2013, Kramer spent eight years at Office Depot, Inc. as the Senior Director of Public Relations with responsibility for global internal and external communications. 

 

Kramer began her career in New York City, establishing an expertise in consumer technology PR.  She spent 10 years at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, rising to the position of Senior Vice President and Group Head of the agency’s prestigious consumer technology practice. 

 

Following her decade at Edelman, Kramer joined then upstart Sirius Satellite Radio as the Senior Director of Corporate Communications to guide the consumer and media launch of the country’s first-ever nationwide satellite radio service.  During her four years at Sirius, Kramer created the PR programs that generated awareness for what was an unknown technology, with the goal of convincing consumers to pay for radio. 

 

Kramer graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. degree in Communications.  She is a passionate sports fan, an avid reader and devoted single mom to her 7-year old son, Robbie.
