Missy Ryan joined CableONE in 2009 as the General Manager in the Mississippi Delta Group responsible for day to day operations, financial and technical performance, government affairs, franchising and system plant rebuild/reinforcement activity to provide High Speed Data, Phone and Video service products for 23 communities. She transferred to the Pascagoula, MS system as General Manager in 2012.
Prior to joining Cable One, Missy was the Commercial Sales Manager for COX Auto Trader Magazines, the nation’s largest classified and Internet automotive advertising company where she Directed all sales channel activity for Auto Trader, Auto Mart and Auto Trader EXTRA print magazines and AutoExtra.com and AutoMart.com Internet sites in Washington State.
Prior to Auto Trader Publishing, Missy’s career was entirely in the Cable and Telecommunications business. Beginning at Gulf Coast Cable Television in Southwest Houston, TX Missy was the Commercial Sales Manager responsible for franchising outlying subdivisions well as bulk activity in for residential and the Hospitality business. From there, there, Missy joined Times Mirror Cable Television and held positions in increasing responsibility over the next ten years including leading MDU/Hospitality Bulk teams in Las Vegas, NV creating a MDU sales and service group in Phoenix, AZ, as Corporate Director of Field Sales and Marketing in Irvine, CA and her first General Manager role in Midland, TX. In 1995 Missy joined the of the nation’s largest private telecommunications company, Optel, Inc. in Dallas, TX. OpTel provided video, telephone and HSD services to 230,000 multifamily customers. Her roles included Vice President of Customer Operations / Marketing and Vice President / General Manager of the Dallas system.
Missy held positions of Executive Director General Manager Business Services for AT&T Broadband in Bothell, WA where her team secured right of entry agreements, Bulk Billing and Commercial Service Agreements for video, voice and high-speed data services for Multiple Dwelling Units and commercial business establishments in Washington and Oregon. Also with AT&T Broadband in Denver, CO, Missy held the position of Corporate Executive Director of Sales Implementation responsible for negotiating Right of Entry agreements for video, voice and high speed data service with Real estate Developers, City municipalities, real estate investment trusts (REIT), homebuilders and apartment owners.
When not working, Missy enjoys traveling and discovering all the things that make the Gulf Coast such a special place to live and work.
