Missy Wood

Missy Wood is a Sr. Manager of Engineering Operations  for the Comcast Colorado market where her team delivers superior customer service every day.  The processes in place are the best they can be to enable the most customer-friendly and reliable service for the company’s consumers.  Wood does this with support from 82 people that directly support the technicians in the field through delivering the most accurate order, provisioning voice, video and CHSI quickly and resolving customer issues in less than one day.

Prior to her role in a local regional office, Wood served on a national team as a Sr. Manager of Process and Implementation which supported over 1,000 users daily to prepare Comcast Digital Voice services for the customer.   In this position, Wood was responsible for writing technical end-to-end documentation that spans across 20+ applications, supporting national support teams, local market operations and vendor operations.
Wood has 11 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.  Her venture with Comcast has moved her from an analyst level writing the technical documentation, to managing a team of 100+ directly in voice operations, to writing national technical documentation and new product development and then closer to the customer working in the local market.  Wood played a crucial role in the MSO to MSO migrations entailing mass migrating 200,000+ CDV subscribers to Comcast without single transactions.

Regardless of the position, Missy brings positive energy and spirit to her team and people around her to achieve controls and measurements which lead to on time provisioning for Comcast customers.    In her spare time, Wood serves on the WICT Rocky Mountain executive board which enables her to give back to others in the industry looking for personal and professional growth.

Before joining AT&T Broadband/Comcast, Wood worked for US West, where she was Strategic Sourcing Manager in Procurement responsible for all of the tools a telephony installer would use.

Wood graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in business administration.

Wood lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband and two little girls 5 and 7 years old. The family’s favorite past time is spent in the mountains with two ski’s supporting them down the slopes through the white, fluffy snow.
