Monica Cole Evans is a highly experienced leader with over 14 years of telecommunications experience. As a Senior Manager, currently working for Cox Communications since 2005, the company provides leading-edge technology solutions and products for business and residential customers. Monica leads a team of exempt professional Field Technical Project Managers in the Southwest and California Regions of the Engineering Management Office of Technology. Monica is responsible for the management and delivery of technology projects within Field Engineering and Operations, providing improved visibility of overall project performance, greater accountability among teams, and driving greater efficiency in the utilization of resources.
Monica started her career at Cox in the role of Project Engineer and quickly moved into a leadership role supporting the Video and MTC Technical Engineering and Operations organization. Prior to her employment with Cox, Monica spent 10 years employed with Maricopa County Superior Court and Juvenile Probation Department.
Monica holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, the Global Credential as a certified Project Management Professional and is a current member of the Project Management Institute. She has also earned her Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Monica has been an active member of Women in Cable Telecommunications since 2011 and has served on the board as Membership Co-Chair from 2016-2018, Chapter Vice President from 2018 – 2020, and currently as Chapter President for the term 2020 – 2022.
Monica is married and the proud step-parent of two (2) successful young adults. During her personal time, Monica enjoys being at the lake, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
