Monika Wilkins is the Sr. Manager of the Credit and Account Services Department for Comcast Cable Corporation. In this role, Monika is responsible for the overall management of the Central Division Commercial Inbound/Outbound Collections and Back Office Support teams. The Commercial team is responsible for speaking to delinquent customers and researching/resolving their issues to ensure they have a positive customer experience with the company. The Back Office Support team is responsible for working with all account types, such as residential, commercial, Bulk Master, Government and Hospitality accounts to ensure delinquent accounts are flowing properly through our collections processes. In this group, she also manages the E-chat process which allows the team to give real time resolution to customers. Monika works closely with senior leadership to drive employee engagement and initiatives that promotes growth, educates, and inspire employees to contribute to the department’s overall success. She is also responsible for staffing, training and the development of her staff.
Prior to joining the Credit and Account Services department, Monika has held a variety of roles within Comcast including billing, retention, training assistant and inbound sales. During her 10 + years in the telecommunications industry, Monika has acquired extensive employee engagement, relationship-building, motivation, presentation, communication, coaching, and development expertise. She has a passion for inspiring and developing her staff. She truly believes that if you put your all into your people, your people pay it forward which leads to maintaining a successful department.
Monika earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree with an emphasis in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Mississippi University for Women. Originally from Mississippi, she now enjoys living in Georgia with her husband and three children.
