Nadia Sookram is a Senior Manager of Finance at MTV Networks, based in New York. She is responsible for the expenses and expense-related operational support for 2 divisions. Nadia leads the Expense team that supports the Content Distribution & Marketing department, which is responsible for securing distribution for all of MTV and BET Networks. Nadia also provides financial support to Epix, a new multi-platform premium entertainment channel operated by a joint venture between Viacom, Lionsgate and MGM Studios.
Prior to joining MTV Networks, Nadia was with Deloitte & Touche where she provided auditing, consulting and business process development services to a variety of industries. Nadia began her career at John Hancock Financial Services in Boston, completing a management training program that aimed to develop business leaders through short term rotations in various corporate functions.
Nadia holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Management from Boston University. She is currently an MBA candidate at the New York University Stern School of Management.
