With 20 years of HR expertise, Nailah Banks-Embden is a solution oriented leader who is passionate about building high performance teams and cultivating inclusive workplace culture. In her current role as HR Director at WarnerMedia, she has supported the Technology organization through the most historic merger & acquisition in the media industry. She collaborates with clients to deliver strategic business solutions that span across talent management, organizational design and leadership development.
Nailah is most effective in her ability to be a high-level influencer with senior leadership. Her natural ability to build relationships with strategic partners to develop and foster organizational growth have enabled to her to become a strategic business partner. She is considered a coach, mentor and trusted advisor to her clients who seek her guidance and professional development advice.
Nailah joined WarnerMedia in 2013. Her previous experience includes progressive HR roles with Dish Network, Stanley Black & Decker and the Schwan’s Food Company. She earned a Master’s of Public Administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University.
She lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and son where she hones her hidden talents for gardening and singing.
